Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
We do not take insurance. All payments are due in full at the time of service.
Insurance neither covers the time needed to spend with patients nor the conditions we treat in a way that is comprehensive and effective. CIRS is complex and intake appointments take 2-3 hours. Many patients have seen over a dozen doctors before they see a physician with an understanding of CIRS. Frequently, CIRS patients are treated dismissively and given medication for symptoms while failing to address the root cause. This illness cannot be managed in standard 10 minute appointments. Doctors will often limit patient complaints to 1 or 2 per visit and CIRS patients often have over 20. The lifestyle modifications are complex and adequate time must be allotted to deal with the scope of this condition.
What do you treat?
We treat Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). The most common causes stem from mold exposure in water-damaged buildings and Lyme disease.
